We are looking for an experienced Insurance Sales Trainer to design and deliver comprehensive training programs for our insurance agents. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of insurance products, sales techniques, and industry best practices. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of our agents, ultimately driving the success of MCIC and ensuring our customers receive the best insurance solutions.

A Brief Overview
Designs and delivers technical training programs to support business line appropriate staff and, as needed, any necessary outside staff. Builds relationships and works with business line management to identify training needs; delivers World Class Service during all interactions. Responsible for implementing and monitoring training programs. Contribute to the development and implementation of Business Line wide initiatives.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Facilitate training programs emphasizing technical and sales skills, applications, vendor and product information, AAA quality standards, and Five Diamond Member experience culture. Delivers training utilizing a variety of training techniques. Ensures trainees comprehend the complexity and depth of related information. Facilitates training programs in a variety of settings including formal classroom settings, various locations, regional training centers, distance learning, and one-on-one training sessions. Training programs may be conducted after business hours. Depending on the business line training may be delivered to non-employees. Training may take place indoors and outdoors settings in all weather conditions.
  • Build professional relationships with AAA partners and vendors. maintains a high level of topical expertise and knowledge of all product offerings, industry trends, department policies, and procedures. Participates in department meetings to communicate proactively the status of training initiatives, ideas, and concepts and to gather feedback from the management staff. Provides constructive coaching throughout training and nesting to help learners refine and enhance their technical and professional skills toward established standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of insurance agents selling MCIC products.
  • Educate agents on MCIC insurance products, coverage options, underwriting guidelines, systems, and pricing.
  • Guide effective sales techniques, objection handling, and customer relationship management.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages engagement, participation, and skill development.
  • Assess the performance and progress of agents and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify training needs and develop strategies for improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive products to ensure training materials are current and relevant.
  • Create and maintain training materials, manuals, and resources.
Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED Required. 
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred.

Experience

  • 1-3 years relevant experience or business line industry experience required.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, including property and casualty insurance.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to engage and motivate insurance agents to achieve their sales goals.
  • Familiarity with training software and techniques for virtual training.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Licenses and Certifications

  • Property & Casualty
  • Insurance designations preferred (CPCU, INS, AINS, API, ACSR, AAI, CIC, CISR, ETC.).
