Job Summary:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management throughout Gymreapers. This role is a unique opportunity to support in continuous improvement of a scaling businesses people operations and strategy. This role will support policy creation, while being involved in the daily people operations.  Area of focus are:

  • Recruiting: Supports in recruiting efforts including candidate identification, coordination of interviews, hiring, and general onboarding 
  • Training: Supports in onsite training and coordination of annual training compliance per legal code and state/federal regulations
  • Policy: Supports in policy continuous improvement and creation 
  • People:  Supports in culture building initiatives, performance evaluation scheduling, and investigation
  • Safety: Supports in reporting, and claims in accordance with safety regulations and policies
 

Typical Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention. 
  • Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development. 
  • Collaborates with business owners to understand staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management. 
  • Conducts research and analysis of organizational trends including review of reports and metrics of overall company health and performance related to our people
  • Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews and modifies policies and practices to maintain compliance. 
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources to upper management.
  • The perfect candidate for this role will have a mix of formal education, experience, and an ability to quickly research state and federal legal codes, ensuring company compliance and risk mitigation. 

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration 
  • 4+ years of working experience in a human resource function
  • Experience in warehouse or manufacturing operations is a plus
