Description
KNIME is growing rapidly and we’re seeking smart, motivated, and creative people up for the challenge of helping us achieve ambitious scaling goals while continuing to empower the active community. Right now, we are looking for a Technical Product Owner - Marketing Website (m/f/d) to join our team, based in Berlin, Konstanz or remote.*
Who you are

You’re a seasoned professional who knows end-to-end what a modern B2B software website looks and feels like and has a strong opinion on what the standard for a well functioning website should be.

Ideally, you have broad experience in development, knowing how all the pieces fit together from server architecture to frontend development to UX design principles–all enabling you to drive successful projects from inception to completion. You’re an exceptional communicator, knowing exactly how to align stakeholders in order to outstanding results. This means:

  • You have a deep understanding of software development processes and methodologies.

  • You are well-versed in server architecture, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.

  • You appreciate the importance of user experience and have a solid grasp of UX design principles.

  • You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to make data-driven decisions and optimize project outcomes.

  • You are an effective communicator and leader, capable of explaining best practices and motivating teams and stakeholders.

That's the job
As a Technical Product Owner, you will lead the effort to deliver, maintain, and consistently iterate on a high-quality Marketing website. You will play a critical role in setting project goals, scoping changes, and ensuring timely and successful execution. You will be working with a third-party website agency and internal development teams for implementation of said changes.

You will be expected to:
  • Manage and oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and delivery.
  • Coordinate and align with internal stakeholders, including our product and software development teams, UX design, and server architecture teams
  • Coordinate and collaborate with our third-party development agency, Amazee.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, schedules, and reports.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolving issues promptly to keep projects on track.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and outcomes to stakeholders effectively.
  • Create and manage an escalation process in the event that anything business-critical breaks on the website.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, encouraging innovation and continuous improvement.
