Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Administrator (DBA) with 5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in managing, maintaining, and optimizing database environments. This is a long-term contract position (2 to 3 years) that requires onsite travel to specify locations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Applications, Databases, and Middleware components
  

• Manage and monitor Oracle E-Business Suite and related technologies
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve database and application performance issues
  

• Perform database backups, restores, and recovery
  

• Work closely with developers and IT teams to ensure optimal system performance
  

• Document systems configurations and procedures
  

Requirements

• 5 to 6 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA
  

• Strong knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite, Databases, and Middleware
  

• Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and ASM
  

• Proficiency in PL/SQL and Shell scripting
  

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  

• Willingness to travel onsite for extended periods
  

• Visa sponsorship and travel expenses covered by the company
