Instructional Designer (Rise 360/Articulate and aXcelerate)| ZR_474_JOB

This is a remote position.

• Providing students and their employers with general access and technical support in the aXcelerate Student and Learning Management System.
  
• Act as a key conduit between the Administration and Learning teams.
  
• Apply policy and relevant legislation with regard to confidentiality and privacy.
  
• Maintaining clear and concise document version control notes and communication records
  
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the College’s courses and programs.
  
• Work with all areas of the organisation to ensure College programs and services are productive, cost effective and meet the needs of industry and its customer base.
  
• In addition to in-house professional development programs, undertake your own educational activities to continue to develop competence and currency of skills and knowledge in the vocational training and assessment sector.
  
• Contribute to the College’s systematic approach to continuous improvement. This includes identifying opportunities for improvement and acting responsively to implement agreed improvements.
  
• Plan, organise and manage own workload to complete allocated duties in a timely and accurate manner. Key Responsibilities:
  
• Develop VET compliant learning and assessment tools using existing resources and AI tools and software
  
• Create and host high quality interactive e-learning SCORM courses on the SLMS
  
• Build and maintain assessment tasks and learning plans in aXcelerate
  
• Provide general SLMS support to students, customers and staff
  
• Support the courseware development team and subject matter experts Key Performance Indicators:
  
• Maximum 2 business hours response rate to inbound student phone and written enquiries.
  
• Effective scheduling of courseware development
  
• Development of high quality and compliant learning and assessment resources
  
• Accurate data and student progression/activity records
  

Requirements

• Working experience with engineering online courses using the aXcelerate learning and student management system or similar adult education LMS.
  
• Significant experience with developing course software using Rise360 or similar.
  
• Superior word processing and document design skills.
  
• High attention to detail.
  
• Exposure to development of learning content generated by artificial intelligence.
  
• Working with children and police criminal history clearance.
  

• Qualification in or significant exposure to Adult Education and/or Vocational Training
  
• Qualifications in or significant experience in the Agriculture, Horticulture, Conservation or Landscape Construction sectors
  
• Varied exposure to the development of commercial education and/or professional development programs
