While reporting to The Director - North American Commercial Operations, the Senior Manager, Orion for the Rental Parcel Program will be responsible for driving the strategy, operational setup, commercial launches and overall management of the program. This role requires a dynamic and visionary leader who can work cross-functionally with sales, product/marketing, engineering, finance, quality, data management, and other teams to ensure the operational success, profitability, and commercial growth of the program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, a keen understanding of the operational and technological aspects of the platform, and a proven track record in driving business growth.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and drive the overall global strategy for the Orion Rental Parcel Program, ensuring alignment with ThermoSafe’s business goals.
  • Identify market opportunities and trends to inform program strategy and development.
  • Be accountable to P&L monitoring and success to leverage organizational resources to adapt to evolving needs of the program.
  • Oversee the operational end-to-end process and setup for day-to-day management of the rental program across existing rental locations and future expansion.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, logistics, quality and sales) to ensure seamless integration and implementation of commercialization projects.
  • Evaluate and establish network locations (either in house or with 3PLs) setting up agreements and managing those relationships.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Be the product SME to develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
  • Support pricing strategy and structure to maximize profitability and market competitiveness.
  • Prepare & deliver quotes and price estimates while managing timelines for deliverables to the sales team – requires coordination with Finance to ensure quarterly management of costings.
  • Represent the product at tradeshows, conferences, and hosted internal customer events to demonstrate program capabilities, supporting the close – won status of business.
  • Drive business development initiatives to expand the program’s market presence and client base.
  • Understand evolving market and competitor dynamics to advance the evolution of the program to sustain and achieve a market leader position.
  • Create customer monthly and quarterly invoice reports
     
  • Collaborate with R&D to drive product innovation and continuous improvement based on customer feedback and market demand.
  • Manage product lifecycle from concept to launch, including prioritizing features, setting timelines, and coordinating resources.
  • Conduct regular product reviews and updates to ensure product relevance and competitive edge.
  • Own and manage the technological aspects of the program, including the customer ordering portal and other relevant digital platforms, including but not limited to data analytics.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers to troubleshoot system access and other relevant technical issues.
  • Collaborate with Sustainability to further expand sustainability product positioning and claims the Program can market as a result of product features and also operational capabilities.

This position will be based in ­­­­­Arlington Heights or remote. Travel can be _10 - 20%.

Compensation: 

The annual base salary range for this role is from $163,040 to $183,420, dependent upon experience and qualifications+ annual bonus & equity.
