THI is seeking a passionate and mission-driven Product Manager, Data & AI Solutions to lead the charge in managing a cutting-edge ophthalmic data lake. This role will own the product roadmap, oversee data ingestion, ensure its quality, and data access. Beyond these data lake activities, this role will be instrumental in driving innovation by collaborating with Clinical and Data scientists to development groundbreaking AI solutions for improve patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Data infrastructure and tools development: Create a product roadmap and collaborate with engineering and data science teams to design and implement a scalable data lake architecture to efficiently store, manage access and analyze large volumes of imaging data.
  • Data ingestion and Data access: Oversee the data ingestion from various sources, ensuring data quality and completeness. Implement data access policies and procedures to enable research and innovation.
  • AI and Innovation pipeline: collaborate with data and clinical scientists and engineers to define requirements and prioritize development of data driven innovative solutions (diagnostics, treatment planning, clinical research).
  • Data governance and security: Implement data governance policies and procedures to protect patient privacy, data integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clinicians, researchers, data scientists, and business leaders, to gather requirements, communicate product vision, and drive adoption.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., science, data science, computer science); MBA, PhD preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data product management, preferably in healthcare technology with a strong track record of delivering successful data-driven products.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare data management and imaging modalities (ophthalmic imaging is preferred)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, tools, and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to digital technologies and data governance and privacy.
  • A passion for leveraging data to improve patient care and drive innovation.

Base Pay:

Expected Base Pay Range: $130,000 to $150,000 Annualized

The base pay range included is a projected hiring range for a position, level and potential work location(s) listed.  Topcon provides the compensation range that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full-time schedule.   

Bonus eligible:

 In addition to base pay, compensation for this position includes eligibility for a 5% annual bonus.
