Remote Content Writer / Editor - Journalist (100% Work From Home)

Location: Remote from Latin America

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $1500 - $2300 USD / month depending on experience/qualifications

Schedule: Schedule is 7am to 3pm US EST time. This is somewhat flexible.

Job Overview

Join our client's dynamic team as a Writer / Editor - Journalist and be at the forefront of delivering engaging daily content to their website. You'll play a key role in tracking developing stories, crafting compelling articles, conducting interviews, and ensuring content remains fresh and relevant.

Responsibilities:

• Transform press releases and other information into captivating news articles that resonate with the target audience.
• Conduct in-depth research and interviews to create insightful and engaging narratives for various stories.
• Edit and refine content to maintain high editorial standards, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
• Collaborate with the team to source visuals and additional information to enhance articles.

Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies:

• Previous writing experience in a fast-paced news environment (newspapers, magazines, or online publications) - writing in English is essential.
• Ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple stories, and stay ahead of deadlines.
• Exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality content.
• Prior experience working remotely is a plus.
• Excellent English level is required.
• Must be located in Latin America.
