Candidates hired for the position may work remotely within the United States (U.S.) or from one of our U.S. office locations. This does not include U.S. territories.

Responsibilities:
The responsibilities for the position include:
- Support the implementation of large-scale payment transformation and health care projects.
- Review health insurance exchange applications to assess eligibility criteria for financial assistance.
- Support activities related to quality assurance and reporting results from the assessment of health insurance exchange applications.
- Support the implementation of business process improvement efforts.
- Conduct literature reviews to support projects and proposals for business development.
- Support technical assistant activities.
- Support research teams in project management and administrative activities such as setting up Zoom and Teams video conference calls, coordinate across multiple calendars to arrange meetings, and manage timelines and budgets.
- Support client relationship management, including communicating with clients, write-up client-ready meeting summaries, and making logistical arrangements.
- Support collaboration among team members, both internal and external to organization.
- Support business development activities, including coordinating proposal activities, managing timelines, collecting materials, and supporting development of proposal budgets.
- Review work products to ensure quality and consistency of content.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in health policy, public health, public policy, or other health or social science related field
- Experience with and/or knowledge of data analysis
- Knowledge of Health Insurance Exchanges preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of private health plans preferred, but not required
Skills:
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with experience identifying and communicating key work issues to project and task leaders
- Acute attention to detail, process-oriented, and strong work ethic
- Effective time management skills and ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite or the equivalent (word processing, spreadsheets, email and calendar management, presentation software)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds

- Comfortable working across a virtual/dispersed work environment

This position is open to U.S. citizens only. Upon hire, incumbent will be required to obtain clearance through the Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP) system.

AIR’s Total Rewards Program, is designed to reward our staff competitively and motivate them to achieve our critical mission. This position offers an anticipated salary of $25.50. Salary offers are made based on internal equity within the institution and external equity with competitive markets. Please note this is the annual salary range for candidates that are based in the United States.
