ModMed is hiring a driven RCM Trainer to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing RCM team focused on training new and existing RCM clients based on ModMed’s training and RCM implementation model. This is an exciting opportunity to ensure our clients are set up for success within a fast-paced Healthcare IT company that is truly Modernizing Medicine!

Your Role:

  • Manage the full training cycle for new and existing RCM clients from post-sale to post-go live activities including: 
    • Patient check-in/check-out 
    • Input patient information including, patient demographics/insurance information 
    • Attach insurance cards, authorizations & referrals 
    • Post payments 
    • Manage patient bills and practice user assignments 
    • Process/allocate any applicable product charges and payments 
  • Manage the onboarding/training scope to the RCM Team including:
    • Internal staff
  • Global Team

    Ensure the following critical objectives are met: 

      • Client is trained successfully to perform the RCM required functions within ModMed PM
      • Client workflows/processes are established to ensure clear expectations are set
      • Internal staff/Global Team is trained to successfully perform the RCM workflows/processes
  • Team responsibilities:
    • Share best practice scenarios and provide ongoing assistance to the RCM ICs 
    • Effectively manage time in order to assist other RCM IC team members and to ensure successful client Go Live 
    • Identify and implement strategies to improve internal and customer processes
    • Assist, train and support new Project Manager’s - Implementation, as well as Internal Staff/Global Team

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Health Administration required
  • 3+ years Project Management experience required (in healthcare setting strongly preferred)
  • 2+ years experience using online meeting software, such as Google Meet, etc (strongly preferred)
  • 1+ years experience working with internal/external customers
  • Strong working knowledge of medical billing & coding, front-office, physician practice management and healthcare business processes
  • Expertise in Internet software, medical billing software and the Microsoft Office Suite of products with an emphasis on Google platforms, such as Sheets, Docs, Gmail, Google Calendar, etc. (preferred)
  • Understanding of various insurance carriers, such as Medicare, Medicaid, private HMOs, and PPOs preferred
  • Proven organizational and time management skills to oversee and support enterprise clients
  • Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven track record of training & guiding others in workflows and projects
  • Proven ability to deliver effective presentations both virtually and in-person to clients and peers
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 50%
