Your missions

SUMMARY
 In accordance with Red Rock’s agency mission statement, the Therapist II – LMHP -Virtual Response Team member provides Crisis Intervention services to consumers, as well as other assigned duties.  The LMHP completes documentation requirements reflecting clinical necessity which meets program and agency standards. LMHP will interact regularly with their team to ensure for the excellent care of consumers. The LMHP will provide services to individuals with mental, emotional and/or substance abuse problems – including abuse of tobacco, and/or other drugs. The LMHP will demonstrate competencies (or will gain competencies) in specific theoretical orientations, i.e., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered, Motivational Interviewing, etc.  The LMHP completes the required process for commercial insurance participation. Therapists are classified into Tiers (Therapist I, Therapist II, etc.) by Red Rock, depending on experience and credentials, and are compensated accordingly.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides crisis assistance and consults with various third parties as deemed appropriate
  • Completes all documentation in a timely manner
  • Assists in the development and implementation of programmatic goals and objectives
  • Maintains confidentiality and informs consumers of rights and obtains necessary authorization for obtaining and releasing information
  • Maintains core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and implementing skills into all aspects of treatment
  • Attends staff meetings, workshops, and seminars to learn agency policies, rules, regulations, and procedures
  • Completes all in-service training and as well as required external training
  • Completes assigned trainings according to assigned Career Path
  • Maintains effective working relationships and strategic alliances with consumers, other staff, the community and other non-profit organizations
  • Exercises independent judgment
  • Works effectively in a team environment
  • Seeks supervision as appropriate for safety of consumers and adherence to Policy and Procedures
  • Encourages team work and supports the culture and goals of the Agency
  • Maintains compliance with Medicaid, Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS), Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and any other funding /contract source
  • Possesses experience working from specific theoretical orientation, i.e., Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered, Motivational Interviewing, etc
  • Credentialed or able to credential with private insurance panels and assist with the process in a timely manner
  • Utilizes and demonstrates competency (or gaining competency) in assigned Career Path
  • Builds rapport and working partnerships with relevant local, state, and federal government agencies
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree - Licensed in state of Oklahoma (LPC, LMFT, LBP, LCSW, LADC)
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of technology to perform duties
  • Must possess high level of clinical judgment
  • Must take initiative and be self-driven
  • Must work well under pressure
  • Must have interest and motivation to assist in crisis situations
  • Must have expert-level skills in de-escalation and problem solving
