Roles and Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Collaborate with other software developers, and UX designers in order to build a set of reusable components, building a common Design System for all groups in Grid engineering to build UI applications
Work within a designated scrum team while supporter engineers from other groups implementation applications using Design System. Build UI applications to be used in transmission, distribution and asset management utility domains.
Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
Writes code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of choice
Required Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with basic experience.
Able to legally work in Mexico.
Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
Experience with web front-end technologies such as typescript/javascript, HTML5, CSS, and frameworks like Angular, React, VueJS
Desired Qualification
Experience with agile methodology, working with scrum teams during sprints
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, build tools like npm, and source control tools like git/github
Experience writing and/or integrating with REST services on the backend
General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development lifecycle
Familiarity and experience writing UI mobile applications is a plus
