Your missions

In this role you will drive, influence, and partner closely with Product Marketing, Product Management, Demand Generation, Content Marketing, Sales, and Customer Marketing to grow Catchpoint’s Internet Performance Monitoring business. With your experience in effectively positioning products and creating sales tools such as competitive battle-cards and enabling on our differentiation you will be a critical component in enabling Catchpoint to outperform the market.   You will work with the rest of the Product Marketing team to continually optimize our messaging in the market for success. You will be the authority on our market & competitive positioning, providing insights as to how we can outmaneuver the market and take share of wallet from our competitors.

 

What will success look like in this position?

This role will be working across the organization to drive deep understanding of how win more deals, how we overcome any competitive hurdles, and how we shape our strategy moving forward.   We believe the goals of sales and marketing are the same to deliver revenue, new customer logos, and continue our growth path.   This is a highly critical role on that journey.

Responsibilities

  • Market intelligence: Conduct competitive and market research to optimize our product fit and competitiveness in the market.
  • Messaging Strategy: You will define and support go-to-market messaging to differentiate our platform and directly contribute to Catchpoint's success. Support product positioning and strategy, assist in product launches, optimize buyer personas, and gather customer insights.
  • Sales enablement: Communicate the value proposition and differentiation of the Catchpoint IPM Platform to the sales team. Ensure sales has the necessary information and collateral to drive growth by developing sales tools and content including product briefs, FAQs, sales presentations, and datasheets.
  • Manage and support the continued updating and evolution of our Klue Competitive Portal.
  • Content creation: Tell our story through the development of Competitive Campaigns and marketing collateral including videos, blogs, eBooks, and webinars.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across the company including sales, marketing, product, customer success, client services, and among others
  • Company spokesperson: You will represent Catchpoint in blogs, webinars, tradeshows.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strategic, innovative and creative product marketing & competitive intelligence professional. A strong desire to contribute ideas and strategies to further product and marketing demand.
  • Comfortable with strategic messaging, competitive insights and hands-on tactical content creation.
  • Analytical skills to extract insights information on customer needs and experiences from data, surveys, and interviews.
  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills, to compellingly and effectively influence and educate others across multiple mediums.
  • Track record of success handling content-driven products in B2B organizations.
  • Ability to develop and execute a solid competitive intelligence plan.
  • Previous product marketing experience for a B2B software solution.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in articulating competitive positioning in a line of technology
  • Core understanding of experience monitoring concepts.
  • Degree in market research, Network Engineering, Marketing or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing key competitive messaging.
  • Published whitepapers, best practices, blog posts, competitive comparisons, and product datasheets.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Translation ability turning conceptual ideas into compelling creative concepts and high-impact competitive content.
  • Project management including prioritization to meet deadlines.
  • Research acumen to develop solid conclusions and sound recommendations.
  • Passion for excellence and attention to detail, determination to continuously improve results and contribution, strong desire to win on behalf of the team.
