Malwarebytes is looking for…   
An analytical and  creative Marketing Manager who will bring a customer-first approach to our team. This position will report to the Lifecycle and Customer Experience Director, and may require up to 10% travel. Your role will focus on retention initiatives across consumer products and touchpoints, helping to educate, engage, and demonstrate continued value to our customers. Reporting directly to the Lifecycle and Customer Experience Director, you will monitor and report on key campaigns, identify opportunities for improvement, and work with marketing operations, content, and product teams to launch new initiatives.
What You’ll Do   
  • Oversee key email and in-product messaging strategies with a focus on customer engagement and retention, in collaboration with product marketing, marketing operations, and content teams
  • Deliver on engagement targets and contribute to retention marketing plans that align to quarterly business goals and priorities
  • Build positive relationships, interact with, and gain consensus with key business partners, including product teams and external partners
  • Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly trends to quantify impact and identify opportunities
  • Support go-to-market efforts for new products, features, and initiatives
  • Maintain an up-to-date and accurate view of key activation and retention campaigns and programs, in partnership with marketing operations and product teams
  • Create new initiatives that drive engagement and retention, while improving relevancy through segmentation and experimentation

Skills You'll Need to Have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in retention, lifecycle, or subscription-based marketing
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, recognize opportunities, report findings, and ability to create reports and pivot tables
  • Extensive experience with email or in-product lifecycle marketing campaigns
  • Experience with retention and cross-selling strategies
  • A passion for exceptional customer education, engagement, and inventive marketing programs
  • Excellent communication and collaborative mindset across all levels  
  • BA/BS in marketing or related field preferred
Preferred Skills:    
  • Experience with marketing and product analytics tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Heap, etc.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools like Braze, Iterable, Klayvio, etc.
