About the job
As a Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in RHI Magnesita, reporting directly to the Head of Sales for Steel in China. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a link between our customers and internal stakeholders, such as plants, logistics, and technical marketing teams. To support you in your role, you will have the assistance of a local supervisor. Your main objective will be to market RHI Magnesita’s products and ensure customer satisfaction by making regular visits and efficiently processing their orders. By doing so, you will contribute significantly to our company's overarching goals of achieving targets in the areas of safety, sustainability, digitalization, and global growth for refractory solutions. You will have the opportunity to cater to the unique demands of each client and present them with tailor-made solutions that meet their specific requirements. In this position, you may be expect to travel, both nationally and internationally.
In addition, your tasks will include
- Securing the turnover of the region and managing the budget effectively
- Supporting working capital actions by efficiently managing stocks and payments
- Developing custom-made solutions and business models that focus on performance, safety, sustainability, and digitalization
- Identifying and addressing customer needs and promoting RHI Magnesita’s Portfolio during customer interactions
- Organizing trials and providing detailed reports

What we expect from you in terms of
Education & Skills
- Bachelors degree or equivalent working experience in Material Science, Technology and/or Sales
Languages
- English – Proficient/Fluent
- Thai – Proficient/Fluent
- Mandarin – Proficient/Fluent – Would be an asset
- Any other language will be considered an asset
Work Experience
- Several years of relevant working experience
- A strong experience in refractory or steel-making processes would be highly valued
