About the Role:

 

We are seeking an Associate Brand Manager to develop and implement brand strategies for our Modern Ember and Country Living brands.   This role is essential in the growth and development of our brands and will encompass a wide range of responsibilities.  These include branding, channel communication, content development, marketing strategy, and both online and offline promotions.  The Associate Brand Manager will manage the company's brand perception, differentiate it from competitors, and strengthen customer relationships.

 

 

  • Location:  100% Remote.   (Required to work from any location within the USA.)
  • Reports to:  Director of Merchandising at Hearth Brands.
  • Base Salary Range:  $75,000 - $80,000 (experience & interview performance will determine actual number within the range).

 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

  • Lead the development of core brand assets and packaging design for new product launches.
  • Ensure consistency in developing and executing Visual Brand Language (VBL) across all branded elements.
  • Develop a deep understanding of target consumers, ensuring brand activities align with consumer needs.
  • Partner with central marketing teams to deploy advertising and marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and provide insights for driving market share growth.
  • Create organizational strategies for content libraries.
  • Identify channel-specific strategies for content and branding initiatives as well as new categories or products to support brand growth.
  • Act as a key partner in launching and managing owned brand direct sites, including website graphic updates.
  • Measure and track the impact of initiatives, recommending strategies to enhance brand value and health.
  • Collaborate with Category Managers and Marketing teams on branded campaigns and content.
  • Develop marketing and promotional content for central marketing team and perform site updates as needed
  • Manage talent, both internal and contracted, to ensure consistent deliverables.
  • Collaborate across all key functions, driving cross-functional team agendas.
  • Manage multiple brand projects, ensuring on-time and complete delivery.
  • Build and distribute core launch assets and other marketing content.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable marketing and content strategies.
  • Ability to manage both B2B and B2C brand strategies effectively.

 

 

Qualifications & Skills:

 

  • 4+ years of prior experience in brand management, marketing, or related roles.
  • A college degree or experience equivalent.
  • Small business experience is a plus.
  • Comprehensive understanding of marketing principles.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop insights.
  • Passion for brand management and demonstrated ability to deliver results.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects at once.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
  • Excellent analytical, time-management, and project management skills.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence across various functions and with external partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with marketing analytics tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset, with a bias toward action and excellence.
  • Continuously seek improvements in existing processes and procedures.
  • Think strategically with a proven ability to deliver measurable results.
