This is a remote position.

Signage Surveyor, Field Based, c.£35k-£40k, Bonus, Vehicle & Benefits

This Signage Surveyor job is with a medium sized, £multi-million turnover, UK sign company. Servicing National, multiple site clients, this sign industry surveyors’ job can be based remotely. The role will require you to travel nationally, to conduct site surveys, and attend client meetings. To be considered, you'll need experience in signage surveying, producing accurate site surveys for costing the supply, manufacture and installation of internal and external signage schemes.

About the Signage Surveyor job

Up until now, the responsibility for site surveys has been the additional duties of the Project Management and Installation teams.

However, due to continuous, sustainable growth, to reduce the workload of the Project and Install teams, allowing them to concentrate time on their other duties, our client now wants to recruit an experienced signage surveyor for this sign industry surveyors job.

Field based; you'll be responsible for liaising with the internal teams on projects. Planning your time, and journeys, to travel to National sites throughout the UK.


The Sign Surveyor jobs responsibilities

In summary, the Sign Surveyors jobs responsibilities include: 

  • Compiling survey reports, including labeled photos & scope of works
  • Assessing & advising on signage installation requirements
  • Advising sub-contractors & other trades on any required remedial works pre-installation
  • Evaluating access issues, required permits & possible Health and Safety, or other, potential hazards
  • Creating detailed reports, to submit to head office / factory teams, to aid estimates, sign manufacture & installation
  • Attending on-site client meetings

 

You

So, to be considered for this Signage Surveyors job you'll need:

  • Experience working within sign industry surveyors’ job, or signage job role that incorporates conducting site surveys
  • Great accuracy & attention to detail
  • Be well organised, able to manage your own workload & have good time keeping skills
  • Professional, well presented, approachable & proactive
  • Have sound technical knowledge of signage manufacturing, installation, & an understanding of Health & Safety
  • Willing & able to travel Nationally throughout the UK.
  • Eligible to work & drive in the UK
