Job Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY

The VP of Research and Validation will:

  • Establish a strategic vision for the Research and Validation team.

  • Lead and manage core team functions including foundational research and white papers, efficacy research, internal thought leadership and product development and support of sales enablement activities.   

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new product ideation and development rooted in research 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the strategic planning and execution of mixed methods research studies (including 3rd party selection) that examine the efficacy of the 3-year Scholastic’s product plan portfolio plan to meet market requirements for high quality instructional materials.

  • Plan, analyze data and generate customer facing reports and research briefs in collaboration with marketing to drive revenue.   

  • Provide literature reviews to support and validate development and launch of new products needed for proof of evidence-based research.

  • Partner and consult with sales and provide efficacy documentation for the purpose of RPFs.  

  • Present research findings across the company and externally to strategically position Scholastic a leader in evidence-based solutions.     

  • Attend high-level meetings as needed to identify new opportunities and be a trusted advisor to our Chief Academic Officer

Qualifications
