Role Overview
The Partner Sales Manager (PSM) is a crucial member of our sales team, focused on driving new business opportunities and enhancing our strategic alliance with AWS. This role requires a dynamic individual who excels at building and maintaining relationships, both within USAN and externally with AWS and its partner ecosystem. Ultimately, helping our customers move faster to exceptional CX.
Experience
5-10 years of experience in sales management, partner management, or business development, particularly in the technology or cloud computing industry, would be expected. Experience working directly with AWS’ Partner and channel management processes is highly preferred.
Key Aspects of the Role
· Strategic Relationship Management: The PSM will maintain and nurture ongoing relationships with AWS partner teams and sellers. This involves regular communication, joint planning sessions, and strategic alignment meetings to ensure mutual business goals are met.
· Travel Requirements: The role will involve approximately 40% travel to engage directly with AWS teams in the United States, attend industry events, and conduct in-person meetings with potential clients. This travel is essential for building strong, face-to-face relationships that drive collaboration and business success.
· Collaboration with Sales Teams: The PSM will work closely with USAN’s internal sales teams to organize and execute one-to-one and one-to-many activities. These activities are designed to accelerate lead generation, nurture opportunities, and engage customers effectively.
· Drive New Opportunities: The PSM will identify and pursue new business opportunities in collaboration with AWS. This includes leveraging AWS’s market position and technological innovations to enhance USAN’s CCaaS offerings and expand its customer base.
· Maintain and Elevate AWS Partnership: The PSM will ensure that USAN’s partnership with AWS is not only maintained but also elevated. This involves managing partner status, certifications, and ensuring that USAN is recognized as a top-tier partner by AWS.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required
· Proven experience in sales or partner management, preferably within the technology or SaaS sectors.
· Strong understanding of cloud computing and/or the CCaaS industry.
· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. This includes talking directly to customers.
· Ability to work collaboratively across teams and organizations.
· Strategic thinker with a track record of achieving business objectives.
