Job Title: Federal Proposal Manager & Capture Specialist

Pay Type: SALARIED EXEMPT 

Location: Remote

Summary of Position Role/Responsibilities

The Federal Proposal Manager and Capture Specialist will be an individual contributor responsible for managing and developing proposals for federal, state, local, and education sectors. They may also assist with commercial proposals. This is not a management position but requires a senior-level professional in the proposal associate space.

Essential Functions of the Job

  • Manage the full lifecycle of proposal development, including planning, writing, editing, and submission.
  • Perform capture management to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with various teams to gather necessary information for proposals.
  • Ensure compliance with RFP requirements and company standards.
  • Develop and maintain proposal templates and related documentation.
  • Deliver high-quality cybersecurity proposals to civilian and DoD agencies.

  • Other duties as assigned

Normal Work Schedule

This is a full-time position. Standard business hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Additional time outside of these hours may be needed to complete the essential functions of the job.

Education, Training, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Extensive experience with federal, state, local, and education proposals.
  • Proven experience in capture management and proposal development.
  • Familiarity with 8a, small business, and federal contracting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and terminology.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Government experience is a must-have.
  • Preference for candidates with experience as government contracting officers.

Preferred Skills:

     •    Experience with commercial proposal development.
     •    Knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and related compliance.
     •    Certification in proposal management (e.g., APMP).
