Job description

The Entry Level Legal Assistant position will provide our new hire with a uniquely experiential opportunity to immerse themselves in the day-to-day bustle of a prestigious legal group’s Title Department. Specific Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive, loan-level desktop reviews of cases, based on predetermined Key Performance Indicators pertaining to the delivery of quality legal services
  • Ensure all internal systems are updated with documentation
  • Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements as applicable
  • Handling steps in the client systems.
  • Ordering Title reports and taxes based off client requirements
  • In office staff will handle preparing packages to mail out

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Some collateral experience/knowledge of mortgage documents recommended
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and efficiency
  • Must be flexible and willing to take on multiple tasks

Required Education and Training:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • High school or equivalent required
  • Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control strongly preferred
