You Are

UST Global is looking for a Data Analyst who analyses the business needs of a client in order to recommend and evaluate solutions to those needs.

The Opportunity

As a Data Analyst you will responsible, but not limited to:

  • Manage execution of data focused projects using Lear’s data analytics and application platform.
  • Participate in multiple projects right from the initial problem statement.
  • Create a toolset to be used as a standard across Lear for analyzing and presenting data in a meaningful manor to senior management.
  • Work in data mining methods and data tools.
  • Generate large databases from various sources of both structured and unstructured data.
  • Analyze data and generate statistical information to showcase trends and patterns from customer forecast data.
  • Use a range of programming languages to transform big data into datasets.
  • Transform technical data into a manageable understanding to give recommendations and conclusions to stakeholders.
  • Develop interactive dashboards that combines visuals with real time data.
  • Understand the phases of program and product delivery and being able to contribute expert analysis across the program lifecycle.
  • Work with technologies both new and old to integrate separate data feeds to transform and map into new scalable datasets.
  • Publish KPI for global performance charts.
  • Ensure documentation and procedures are maintained and improved in accordance with internal practices (ITPM) and Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
  • Ensure system optimization for all hardware and technology resources.

What You Need

  • The candidate needs to have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of working experience in the following areas:
  • Business Analysis.
  • Microsoft SQL platform.
  • Software development.
  • IT system environment.
  • Management of the full lifecycle of projects in data science and machine learning.
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience within automotive industry or comparable high volume production industry.
  • Experience in coding or software / systems development.
  • Technical understanding of cloud-based computing applications.
  • Exposure to data management within manufacturing operations.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $68,000-$102,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

Part-time employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year) and are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) program with employer matching. Part-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All US employees who work in a state or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
