You Are
The Business Intelligence Analyst provides user direction, analyzes data, and develops BI content for one or more functional units within client accordance with enterprise data governance processes. The BI Analyst also develops dashboards, dashboard components, metrics, and data pipelines. Responsibilities include analyzing and synthesizing information, and creating reports, presentations, and other materials. The BI Analyst creates reports and dashboards with tools such as Epic Slicer Dicer, Epic Workbench, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services, and Power BI, and creates ad hoc SQL queries.
The Opportunity
- Collaborate with Product Managers and the marketing team. ensuring that the product contributes to the success of the customer.
- Conduct and document pre-implementation process review of customer workflow.
- Provide in- depth process reviews and ensure implementation of improved processes.
- Consult with customer to identify and communicate hardware and software requirements prior to implementation.
- Conduct training sessions with customers pre- and post-implementation.
- Enable team collaboration working with cross-functional teams.
- Manage implementation milestones and activities per project schedule.
- Conduct presentations reviewing customer workflow to internal work groups in relation to the implementation.
- Provide feedback to product managers utilizing customer feedback.
- Deliver virtual and onsite training around product setup and best practices.
- Provide professional implementation and support services to clients resulting in smooth, well-coordinated implementations
- Consult customers to design and recommend solution architecture. Recommend configuration approach and design
- Review customer deliverables

What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related field.
- Preferred but not required: (will train the right candidate) Epic Cogito Certification:
- Level 1: Less than 2 years of BI experience, no Epic certification.
- Level 2: 2 years of BI experience, with or without Epic certification.
- Level 3: 5 or more years of BI experience, with or without Epic certification.
- Level 4: More than 5 years of combined experience with lead/supervisor responsibilities and Epic certified.
- Experience analyzing data and creating reports.
- Experience writing SQL queries.
- Experience creating reports with tools such as Epic Slicer Dicer, Epic Workbench, Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services, and Power BI.
- Ability to work with a computer terminal for extended periods of time.
- Ability to handle multiple projects.
- Ability to handle stressful situations.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.

- Required Certification/Registration:
- Must acquire Epic Cogito Certification within 12 months, 6 months is preferred.
- Must acquire Epic Clinical Data Model Certification with 18 months.
Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.
Role Location: Remote
Compensation Range: $98,000-$148,000
Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits.
