About the Role:

In this role, you will ensure that our virtual events run seamlessly. The ability to rapidly switch gears and monitor technical needs of virtual learning events and presentations, while managing participant engagement is vital in this role. A successful Virtual Events Producer allows presenters and facilitators to provide outstanding presentations and learning experiences while you manage the virtual platform technology.

How you will make an impact:

  • Manage all aspects of online events including:
    • Platform management for presenters
    • Troubleshoot tech challenges with presenters and participants
    • Work with platform vendor as needed for systemic problems
    • Interactivity tools of platform, including breakout rooms, chat, polls, etc.
    • Clarify activity instructions for participants throughout training
    • Event time management and communication with presenters
    • Other responsibilities as needed
What we look for:

  • Two or four-year degree, or relevant experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a virtual events producing role is preferred
  • Experience managing online learning events that involve advanced use of interactivity tools and content sharing
  • Expertise in virtual platforms, preferably Zoom
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools, including PowerPoint
  • Outstanding troubleshooting skills
  • Strong organizational skills, including coordination of multiple priorities
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work successfully with people who have a range of technology capabilities
  • Experience in event registration platforms is a plus
  • A team mentality
  • Customer support mindset, working with both presenters and participants in a respectful and professional manner
  • Ability to develop good rapport with a range of personalities
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple challenges simultaneously during virtual events
  • Strong tech experience with eagerness and ability to learn new tech tools easily
  • Outstanding problem-solving capabilities
  • A high-level of familiarity with webinars, webinar platforms, and other event tech
