Who We Are Looking For

The Senior Sales Executive will focus on new business development and account acquisition within the major Canadian banks, credit unions, other financial services organizations along with other industries as assigned in a designated territory in Canada. This role involves developing and executing a territory sales plan, complete with strategies and tactics to create and nurture leads, generate opportunities, and advance these opportunities to close, aligning with company revenue targets.

As the primary lead on new customer acquisition, the Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for leading and directing the entire sales cycle. This includes guiding an expanded sales team of business development representatives, solutions consulting team members, professional service team members, and legal support to secure multi-year SaaS agreements with companies in the assigned territory.

What You’ll Need, and What You’ll Do

  • Create and execute a full territory development plan inclusive of target identification, lead generation, opportunity progression
  • Develop and manage an effective pipeline of opportunities 3X of quota
  • Manage a rolling 9-12 month complex sales cycle
  • Negotiation and closure of enterprise level contractual agreements MSAs, SaaS agreements, and Professional Service SOWs
  • Relationship development, expansion and management
  • Consistent management and execution of Salesforce & Reporting
  • Assist in the orderly hand-off and transition of newly acquired accounts to the Provenir Delivery and Customer Success Teams

Qualifications, Strengths and Skills

  • A minimum of ten years working in an enterprise sales environment with a consistent track record of achieving / exceeding sales targets
  • A minimum of five years working within, or selling to the financial services industry, specifically the credit risk, fraud, or advanced analytics space
  • Previous successful experience selling into the large Canadian banks
  • Consistent track record of achieving / exceeding sales targets
  • Experience solution selling into, or within the domain of enterprise technology
  • Experience in SaaS-based or cloud-native hosted technology solutions
  • Demonstrable ability to engage with and manage “C” level relationships
  • Organized and effective communication and listening skills, including the ability to eloquently articulate a complex value proposition
  • Ability to create and present targeted content, build value propositions, and develop and present ROI in support of a business case
  • Experience in advanced sales techniques and methodologies
  • A self-motivated, team player who is willing to share best practices and learn new approaches while being open to coaching
