How You’ll Make a Difference
You will be responsible for leading programs focused on increasing meaningful engagement and outreach with academic and vocational training institutions and their audiences. You will be acting as a PMI Ambassador in the Academic and Vocational Sector, being the primary contact for stakeholders, and growing and maintaining long-lasting relationships and partnerships in these sectors.
You will be developing, managing, and implementing programs and initiatives on a market-specific level for academic and vocational training institutions and audiences. Achieving objectives in the Europe region, with a strong focus on Germany and France.
You will collaborate closely with regional and internal PMI stakeholders, including Country Strategy Leads (France and Germany), Community Team, the Global Academic Team, B2B, PMI Authorized Training Partners Program and Marketing.
What You’ll Bring To The Role
- Bachelor’s degree or a local market comparable degree in Education, Business, Project Management, Management, Industry & Commerce, or any other relevant field. Advanced degree desirable.
- Deep German and France market knowledge of the educational market and its institutions, including familiarity with faculty, students, academic administration, vocational training institutions, instructors, trainees, and Chambers of Commerce.
- Demonstrated experience and success in developing and driving programs in a global organization.
- Experience working and leading in an agile, dynamic, and customer-centric environment.
- Demonstrated success in the development, organization, and execution of large and small events, programs, and initiatives directly aligned to and showing key organizational initiatives and objectives.
- Strong leadership skills, including demonstrated ability to work with customers, volunteers, and external organizations from diverse cultures and backgrounds, with a track record of positive relationship building.
- Demonstrated success in cultivating and sustaining relationships with diverse internal stakeholders, coordinating engagement to reach goals and objectives.
- Ability to oversee and execute multiple projects, working groups, and individuals with a proactive and adaptive mindset.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in German and French on a native or close to native language level.
- Proficiency in the business language for PMI (English)
- Technical skills with CRM and other internal process platforms.
- Experience in the association environment is a plus.
- Expected travel up to 25-30%.
