We are looking for a Physician Assistant who will work under the supervision of a foreign physician. The Physician Assistant will also be responsible for monitoring and overseeing medical practice operations to ensure they go smoothly and patients are taken care of. To be a successful physician assistant, you should be formally educated to examine patients and diagnose injuries and illnesses. You should demonstrate strong attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You are required to have experience in doing various medical administrative tasks, and work closely as well with the team of nurses. A strong internet connection is required along with experience using communication and Electronic medical record.
Physician Assistant Responsibilities:
* Monitoring of all messages and answering questions from home care policy and clinic and creating and completing notes for all patients.
* Creating and completing all medical notes but also making sure the nurses are following up on all care and answering all questions for patients that are simple.
* Accompany healthcare providers during patient encounters and document the details of the visit in real-time
* Enter patient medical histories, exam findings, procedures, and treatment plans into electronic health records (EHRs) under the direction of the healthcare provider.
* Coordinate patient care and communicate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and pharmacists, to ensure timely and effective patient care
* Maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
* Help to optimize the patient encounter by ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
* Will work closely with the team including the head of the operation.
* Other related medical and admin work required by the client
Physician Assistant Requirements:
- More than 2 years of experience working as a Doctor in the Philippines and handling adult patients
- Strong analytical and technical skills.
- Exceptional communication skills in written and spoken English.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Detail oriented with good problem-solving skills.
- The ability to treat patients with compassion and empathy.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced and ever-evolving environment.
- Can work in US Eastern Standard Time
