What will you do in this role?

To support the company’s growth, we seek a (Senior) Sales Lead, to join our Government Solutions Sales team in Europe.

  • Your primary focus will be on selling ICEYE's SAR-derived Natural Catastrophe solutions, providing government organizations with quick emergency recovery response capabilities.
  • Utilize your successful experience in exploring & selling into new markets and collaborating with team members and stakeholders to identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead generation and management of the existing sales pipeline will be your responsibility, along with the development of key relationships within Government agencies & organizations. Additionally, you will leverage your existing network to identify and close opportunities.
  • Develop long-term sales pipeline and client success strategies in your regions.
  • Collaborate closely with various PAN European Government Agencies throughout your Region, including but not limited to: Sovereign Response & Recovery Agencies in Europe, European Union Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), Copernicus Emergency Services, and other potential partners.

Requirements

Must have:

  • You will possess extensive expertise in Government Sales within the European market
  • You will have a proven track record in successfully selling GIS data and/or solutions to European Governments
  • You will need to showcase a proven ability to confidently identify, strategically target, and expertly penetrate untapped markets across Europe
  • Proven track record of successfully working with Government Services and a strong network of contacts
  • Demonstrated ability to expand and manage a sales portfolio, consistently closing deals with governmental clients
  • Driven by self-motivation, proactivity, and an independent work style, thriving in fast-paced environments and providing exceptional support during emergency situations
  • Extensive experience in sales and business development, with a minimum of 5-7 years in the field
  • Adaptable to working remotely and frequent travel, ensuring no disruptions in delivering outstanding service
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Spanish

Preferred to have:

  • Extensive network & Government Sales experience within Spanish Organisations and Governments would be significantly beneficial
  • Experience selling into (Spanish) Civil Protection Services / Disaster Response Organisations would be a strong plus
  • Preferred experience in geospatial or emergency management
  • Strong network at Sovereign Response & Recovery Agencies throughout the European Region, Copernicus Emergency Services, and/or other potential partners
  • Strong network at the European Commission and/or ESA
  • German language a huge plus

  • Base salary range for this position is €70,0000 - €100,000 per year (gross) + 100% Target Based Compensation (uncapped & with multiplier effect), contingent on your experience level, and will be negotiated individually.
