WHO ARE WE?

CGS Advisors is a boutique strategic transformation advisory and consulting firm. We recognize how emerging connected technologies are disrupting industries and society and assist our clients’ leaders to bravely embrace and execute necessary enterprise transformation to compete in the Connected World.

WHAT DO WE STAND FOR?

We pride ourselves on our values and, therefore, are:

  • Brave transformational advisors who respectfully tell the truth and challenge the status quo
  • Passionate about solving complex and meaningful problems
  • Partners in imagining the path and assisting our clients to run the first mile
  • Believers that the connected future is bright, and people want to overcome inertia to be part of it
WHAT IS THE ROLE?

We are looking for a team member who is an energetic, hardworking individual with a positive and self-starting attitude to fill this position. In this position, you will work both externally on client engagements and internally on CGS business development efforts. The expected time split in this role is approximately 60% focused on client delivery and 40% focused on CGS business development efforts. This expected time split should be viewed as an approximation and will require flexibility to navigate changing firm priorities and the rate of business development deal flow. Primary responsibilities for this role are broken down as follows:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS
  • Aggressively prospect for new opportunities and expand into key target accounts through market research, networking, and other lead-generation activities.
  • Cross-sell additional services to existing clients, identifying opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and maximize revenue.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our services and capabilities to effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.
  • Conduct client meetings and presentations to introduce our services, understand client needs, and propose customized solutions that meet their manufacturing requirements.
  • Participate in the ideation process to identify potential CGS service-line content, discussion topics, and leads/sales campaigns that can be used in the market to support early-stage business development activities.
  • Lead the execution of CGS business development events, including all post-event outreach to participants while securing the next steps with the prospect.
  • Lead the discovery process to summarize the understanding, approach, and suggested service model for use with potential clients.
  • Work between meetings with CGS senior leaders and other internal support staff to manage the key purchasing and operational activities needed to move sales opportunities through the funnel and into the final “closed” stage of the sales process.
DELIVERY EFFORTS
  • Work with client sponsors and other key influencers to discover their problems and help scope out an engagement plan and set of deliverables to help them achieve their transformation objectives.
  • Support the development of transformation program plans defining what work needs to be completed, by whom, and when to help clients achieve their transformation objectives.
  • Lead the creation of key engagement deliverables (e.g., presentations, spreadsheets, interview guides, workshop facilitation, research papers, etc.) that reflect the clients’ needs.
  • Prepare and lead engagement status meetings with internal (CGS) and external (client) stakeholders to coordinate key activities and communications against the engagement program plan.
  • Lead the prep, facilitation, and post-processing for client workshops, which senior executive leaders from the client firm typically attend.
  • Lead account planning efforts with CGS personnel to identify and position future engagements with key client sponsors and influencers.
  • Work directly with CGS senior leaders to develop and maintain trusted relationships with client teams.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Retirement IRA plan with up to 3% employer match
  • Short-term and long-term disability insurance
  • HSA match for qualified accounts
