Job Description:

Our Eligibility & Benefits team is seeking a driven, decisive, collaborative, and dependable Product Manager with experience in health care eligibility and benefits to join the Product Management Department.

In this role, you’ll utilize your experience with working with eligibility payers, familiarity of the eligibility ecosystem including eligibility verification, 270/271 transactions, co-pays, cost estimate, prior authorization, etc., while creating and integrating to eligibility APIs/SDKs, including clearing houses and direct payer connections. You’ll also oversee the full product lifecycle, including driving product innovation and strategy, defining detailed requirements, knowledgeable of the market and our competitors, working conjointly with our other product teams as well as our engineers on product launch plans.

As a Product Manager, Eligibility & Benefits, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, which include Clinical Engagement, Sales teams, Engineering, UX, Marketing, and other Product teams to deliver innovative products, boost adoption, and capture utilization.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the vision and roadmap for a product within the portfolio which is tied to business goals 
  • Build business cases for new features and feature enhancements by collaborating with product leadership marketing, sales, and operations groups.    
  • Develop detailed product requirements & translate into user stories for implementation by engineering   
  • Drive product go-to-market strategies and execute successful launch plans with the support of product leadership, market development, client success and the marketing team. 
  • Manage escalations, investigate issues, and prioritize fixes; establish the definition and the strategy to achieving specific product outcomes 
  • Understand market problems and needs as well as be a product champion within our company and for our clients   
  • Analyze product datasets and track product usage metrics or other KPIs 
  • Provide product support and training to sales and operations teams   

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required 
  • 3-5 years of product management experience preferably in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment using an Agile development methodology OR at least 4 years of experience at Phreesia with demonstrated product expertise 
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and function effectively in a fast-paced environment, providing strong leadership skills while managing multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Experience leading product initiatives across multiple cross-functional teams
  • Passion for making a difference in healthcare and improving access to care; deep interest in user experience, creating, and analyzing products  
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, written and oral communication skills  
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment  

Base pay for US is $110,000 - $120,000 USD, depending on qualifications.
