Jira Administrator - Project Management Professional

Join our dynamic team as a PMP Jira Specialist, leveraging technology to enhance project management, portfolio management, and agile development practices. We are dedicated to excellence and innovation, actively seeking a skilled Jira Administrator to refine our project management tools and processes. Initially, this role will commence as a remote contractor position, transitioning to a permanent, full-time opportunity onsite at our new Buenos Aires office.

Compensation: $1,700-$2,500 monthly (US Dollars) DOE

Contract Phase

Initially, you will be engaged as a contractor working remotely. You will need to register with Argentine tax authorities and choose an appropriate tax regime, such as Monotributo or the general tax regime (Responsable Inscripto). You will be responsible for issuing invoices for the services you provide and will receive payment in US dollars. Once our Buenos Aires office is established, we plan to offer contractors the opportunity to transition to full-time, onsite positions

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, fields, screens, and manage user provisioning and de-provisioning to meet specific project needs.
• Develop custom dashboards, fields, and screens to improve project management and reporting efficiency.
• Design and manage comprehensive Jira dashboards and reports for stakeholder transparency and visibility.
• Maintain robust Jira workflows for key project management processes, including change management, risk management, and issue tracking.
• Configure time logs with detailed reporting capabilities and demonstrate strong knowledge in this area.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, implement, and refine Jira process enhancements and best practices.
• Provide effective training and support to project teams and stakeholders, enhancing their Jira proficiency.
• Assess and integrate Jira add-ons and plugins to extend project management functionalities.
• Resolve any Jira-related issues and bugs efficiently.
• Document Jira processes, protocols, and guidelines meticulously.
• Utilize Jira for advanced project forecasting and resource management, configuring and optimizing WBS Gantt charts.
• Tailor Confluence settings to organizational needs, improving project documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience specializing in Jira administration, configuration, and deployment.
• A solid background (5+ years) in project management within a tech-forward, multi-application environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in collaborating with multiple partner teams, prioritizing tasks, and managing several projects or priorities simultaneously.
• Experience in fostering collaboration among development teams, particularly in a remote setting.
• Adept at identifying process inefficiencies and proposing actionable, effective solutions.
• History of managing diverse projects/priorities under stringent timelines and high-pressure conditions.
• Experienced with dictation/voice translation software.
• Must be Fluent in English
