Sabertooth Pilot

As a Sabertooth Pilot at PXGEO, you will be responsible for operating and controlling the Sabertooth Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) during offshore survey operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Operating the Sabertooth AUV in accordance with company procedures and project requirements
• Monitoring and maintaining the vehicle's position and control parameters
• Ensuring proper data acquisition and quality control during survey operations
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the AUV systems
• Collaborating with the survey and data processing teams to optimize data collection
• Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Experience in operating autonomous underwater vehicles, preferably the Sabertooth AUV
• Proficiency in underwater navigation and survey techniques
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with team members
• Excellent understanding of safety protocols and procedures in offshore environments
• Flexible approach to work schedules and willingness to work in remote locations

Please be aware that this position is based on an offshore rotation contract; only candidates willing to work on a rotational basis offshore will be taken into consideration.
