This position will be based in one of our office locations (New York, NY; Washington, DC; Chicago, IL) or remote in the United States.

Our award-winning and modern, open concept offices are located in Washington, DC, Chicago, IL and New York, NY. All three offices are accessible by public transportation and in close proximity to great restaurants and shopping.

Join us in the office for Bagel Tuesdays, catered lunch on Wednesdays or grab a beverage from the fridge for an impromptu after-work happy hour!

The Role:
Morning Consult is seeking a subject matter expert to join our Solutions Architecture team to keep up with the demand for reputation measurement solutions. As the Lead Solutions Architect of Reputation Measurement, you will ensure that our solutions in these spaces are optimally designed to uncover clear insights that drive actionable recommendations.

The ideal candidate will have a mixture of commercial excellence and expertise with research and analytic solutions supporting reputation management and communications effectiveness. In this role, you will partner with the Head of Solutions Architecture to refine the vision for reputation solutions at Morning Consult. You will drive cross-functional efforts to activate and scale these solutions to deliver simple and actionable insights in a commercially efficient manner. This role is responsible for ensuring that our solutions meet and exceed the needs of our communications, government/public affairs, insights and analytics clients.

The range of client needs you will answer is quite diverse, but all have reputation performance and success factors at their core. Their focus ranges from how to connect the dots between reputation measures and business performance; understanding how communications and narratives in earned media are resonating and contributing to reputation (or not); uncovering white spaces and opportunities to inform communication development; setting goals across targets, markets and reputation metrics and identifying communications best practices based on patterns visible via analytics applied to massive survey data sets.

Morning Consult brings a unique combination of speed, scale and quality of data to apply to reputation research. We apply a validated framework to our reputation deep dives and ongoing measurement of performance. We design our programs to fuel analytics to uncover hidden insights and deliver our results with our unique context powered by our ability to leverage diagnostics and data from flex modules, our omnibus and our syndicated solutions on the market. This ensures our solutions such as narrative tracking and reputational deep dives deliver maximum actionability. While we have already grown dramatically in this space, we are excited to bring in a fully dedicated Lead Solutions Architect to further enable effective and efficient growth in this space.

The Solutions Architecture Team at Morning Consult:
The mission of the Solutions Architecture team is threefold. First, we design, scale and activate differentiated solutions that deliver simple and actionable insights for our clients’ core questions in a commercially efficient manner. Second, we empower and support acquisition, retention and cross-selling efforts to grow our client base for our solutions in partnership and centralized planning with our Sales, Research Solutions and Analytics and Data Operations teams. Third, we work to elevate our colleagues’ abilities to drive impact by cascading our expertise through the Morning Consult organization. We build thought leadership on topics such as best practices in research and analytics, patterns of success in brand growth and creative success and case studies showing bridging survey and sales data. Within our suite of solutions, brand measurement and campaign effectiveness is our largest and rapidly growing area for the business.

  • Cascading expertise in this space through the business by management and training of solutions champion networks and partnering with RS and ADO on all reputation measurement work, focusing on effective and efficient delivery against client needs
