We're looking for someone to join our team as a Psychiatrist who:

The Psychiatrist needs to have a special interest to work with specialty mental health population. Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to our behavioral health population with the highest quality, respect and compassion. Works as part of a care team of clinicians, case managers, medical assistance, other behavioral health professional to deliver comprehensive care. 

You will be successful with the following qualifications:

  • Satisfactory completion of four (4) year residency training program in Psychiatry approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology AND valid license to practice medicine issued by the State of California.
  • Completion of a residency training program and a valid California State License are required at the time of appointment.
  • A knowledge of general medicine and psychiatry; current developments in the field of psychiatry; hospital and clinic organization management and procedures.
  • Have an ability to work effectively with other professional workers in consultation; supervise other mental health professionals; maintain records and prepare reports.  Ability and skill in diagnosis and treatment; perform other job-related duties as directed.
  • Must adhere to Clinica Sierra Vista’s employee health/immunization requirements or provide a valid exemption request for subsequent approval.
