Job Title: Corporate Insurance Manager                              

Reports to:  Senior Director and Treasurer

Location:  Remote Greater Santa Barbara or Los Angeles Area

The Role

The Corporate Insurance Manager provides integral support to the Treasurer and Sr. Manager, Global Benefits by overseeing all aspects of insurance and some aspects of risk mitigation within the organization. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Insurance Department, serving as a liaison between Deckers and external stakeholders such as insurance providers, brokers, third party administrators and other departments within the company. Additionally, the Corporate Insurance Manager leads projects with cross-functional teams both internally and externally.

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

  • 1. Managing global insurance programs.              
  • 2. Managing the Workers Compensation program(s) in North America.
  • 3. Managing insurance claims processes.
  • 4. Developing risk mitigation programs.

Minimum of five to ten years insurance or corporate risk management experience with a global corporation or insurance company with experience with global insurance programs, workers compensation programs in the U.S., claims management and risk mitigation programs.

$125,000 - $135,000

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary for your preferred location during the hiring process.
