The District Manager (DM) will co-create and embed a high-performance team culture aligned to Regeneron’s vision, values, and strategic direction. You will manage a team of Sales Specialists within a designated region, and effectively coach and performance manage the sales team to deliver commercial goals.
Job Duties:
Ensure high standards of recruitment of industry leading sales representatives.
Conduct on-boarding training for new staff in conjunction with Human Resources and Talent Development training programs.
Manage the performance of the Sales Specialist Team within a designated area through appropriate leadership and coaching.
Provide direct reports with appropriate and relevant feedback, coaching training interventions, development planning and talent management.
Identify best practice and share these with the Sales Specialist team.
Ensure a successful productive working relationship with Regeneron’s co-commercialization partners.
Expand Regeneron reputation and relationships with Key HCPs.
Provide input into Regional and Local Account plans, ensuring plans are operationalized with clear tactical plans assigned to each team member.
Monitor/track Key Performance Indicators to achieve revenue and contribution targets for the region and act to course correct when required.
Ensure sales targets and profits are met through effective management and deployment of resources.
Monitor budgets across the assigned Country/Region to demonstrate return on investment.
Provide the appropriate business functions with performance overviews (Business and Personnel).
Full adherence to industry and company procedures.
Act in accordance with the relevant Pharmaceutical Industry’s Code of Practice and Regeneron SOP’s.
Job Requirements:
Educated to degree or equivalent, preferably in business, marketing, finance, economics, market research, statistics, or the social, biological, or physical sciences
Previous 1st Line Management experience and 7+ years of progressive industry / relevant professional experience
MR Certification
Alliance exposure/experience
People Leadership and Coaching capability
Demonstrable account management experience with proven commercial sales success within the pharmaceutical industry
Understanding of financial tools, processes required to execute brand plans
Proven ability to spot opportunities and develop into business solutions
Excellent networking and influencing skills and high personal credibility
Excellent planning and prioritisation skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Good level of commercial acumen
Computer literate with competence in working with data/multiple systems/CRM
Qualified in the relevant Pharmaceutical Industry’s Code of Practice
Frequent travel will be requirement of the role
Driver's license
Basic excel skills and PowerPoint skills
Desirable:
▪ Therapy area knowledge (Rhinology and/or Respiratory) and sales experience in biologics
▪ Up to date clinical Rhinology knowledge of therapy areas and competitor brands
▪ Commercial experience in Rhinology surgery such as medical device
▪ Established Key Opinion Leader relationships within Rhinology/Respiratory
▪ Fluency in English is a plus but not essential for this role
