Job Description:

We are currently seeking three detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Assistants to join our team and support our purchasing department with allocations. As a Purchasing Assistant, you will play a key role in assisting the purchasing department with product allocations. Your main responsibilities will include identifying products in our distribution center, analyzing reports, and providing allocation numbers for various brands based on those reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Identification: Use reports to identify products available in our distribution center.
  • Report Analysis: Review and interpret reports to determine the allocation needs for different brands.
  • Allocation Management: Provide accurate allocation numbers for each brand based on the data from the reports.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter allocation data into relevant systems or spreadsheets.
  • Coordination: Work closely with the purchasing department to ensure accurate and timely allocations.
  • Documentation: Maintain and organize documentation related to product allocations and inventory.




Qualifications:

  • Education: College graduate with a degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a purchasing or inventory role is preferred but not required.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; proficiency in using reports and data analysis tools.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with spreadsheets (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and inventory management systems.
  • Communication: Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
