Job description

GrowthAssistant is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Generalist. This role involves managing and ensuring the quality of multiple digital marketing campaigns using various project management tools and CRM systems. The candidate will conduct thorough Quality Assurance reviews, prepare and execute CRM campaign tactics, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and deliverability. Daily tasks include reviewing workload, maintaining campaign documentation, and addressing any SLA violations or QA misses.

The Role
  • Work on the Product Marketing team to build in-product ad campaigns and email campaigns visible to existing customers.
  • Utilize a high attention to detail to quality check data and information, ensuring 100% accuracy in task execution (e.g., building email audiences, analyzing campaign performance).
  • Follow step-by-step processes, training, and SOPs for the following tasks:
    • Ad Campaigns: Set up, monitor, and track high volumes of in-product ad campaigns, including setting up ad copy, adding filters and audience segments, inputting SQL code into the proprietary ad platform, and ensuring the accuracy of information.
    • Email Campaigns: Set up, monitor, and track email campaigns within proprietary client software and Outreach; track performance metrics such as conversion rates and audience volume, and report any issues to the team.
    • Data Entry: Track email and ad campaign data in Google Sheets and Tableau.
    • Excel & Pivot Tables: Clean, organize, and filter data within Excel using advanced features like Pivot Tables and XLookup to pull in data from different sources and create consumable reports.
    • Data Matching: Match data from different spreadsheets, manually and automated, to validate the accuracy of data.
    • Data Cross-referencing: Look at Tableau data to cross-reference data accuracy.
    • Jira Tickets: File and monitor Jira tickets related to campaign issues, following provided templates.
    • Slack Monitoring: Monitor relevant Slack channels to triage and direct feedback.
    • Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform additional tasks such as manual downloads from various data sources (e.g., Salesforce).

The Requirements
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a role requiring high accuracy, attention to detail, quality checking data, and information, and working collaboratively with U.S. teams.
  • 2+ years of experience with Excel/Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables and organizing and cleaning data.
  • Experience with learning new software and/or using proprietary in-house software.
  • Passion and excitement for learning on the job, with a proactive approach to asking questions and understanding client needs.
  • Experience setting up paid social ad campaigns on platforms such as LinkedIn, Meta, SnapChat, TikTok, etc.
  • Experience setting up and monitoring email campaigns on platforms such as Outreach, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, etc.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work 8 am - 5 pm, PST

Nice to Have
  • Experience with SQL using XLookup to organize, clean, and filter data
  • Familiarity with Tableau
