Position Purpose: Provide hands-on training to corporate quality staff and line of business partners. Training will encompass, but not limited to: Star measures and HEDIS or HEDIS like measures. Liaise to ensure training curriculum and content reflect the latest quality requirements.

***The HEDIS Clinical Trainer is primarily remote. Candidates will be considered nationally.***

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate in-person and virtual clinical trainings
  • Identify, select and develop, in conjunction with subject matter experts, plan-specific curriculum content and teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference work
  • Coordinate and build collaborative working relationships with subject matter experts and preceptors within specific health plans or conduct train-the-trainer sessions
  • Evaluate training needs and effectiveness of training programs, and communicate results to management
  • Maintain records of training activities and employee progress
  • Assist in auditing work performed by staff and present findings and recommendations for areas of improvement to management
  • Assist with revisions to policy and procedures and/or work process development
  • Share best training practices with other trainers
  • Research, analyze, and recommend external training programs
  • Travel as required

Highly Preferred Skills:

  • 3+ years of HEDIS experience
  • 2+ years as a LPN or RN
  • Prior training experience

Education/Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent experience in nursing; 2+ years of experience in nursing, managed care, training, or related field. LPN or RN license required.

License/Certification: LPN or RN license required. Valid driver’s license may be required

Pay Range: $54,000.00 - $97,100.00 per year
