The role:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Scheduler to support our growing medical and behavioral health providers optimize their time, while achieving our mission to serve as many people as possible to heal from addiction. This is a full-time, remote position with a rapidly growing organization.

As an ideal candidate, you are very organized and can coordinate many schedules. You enjoy working closely with supportive and friendly medical and behavioral health teams and learning how they each best communicate their needs..

What you will do:

  • The Clinical Scheduler is responsible for the online scheduling of medical and behavioral health professionals at Better Life Partners.
  • Maintains multiple computer applications for scheduling and availability of medical and behavioral health providers
  • Collaborates/communicates with Member Services and Operations Team which relies on scheduling on a daily basis
  • Responsible for resourcing any discrepancies on scheduling procedures
  • Ensures all communications are timely and provide complete details
  • Provides clinical staff with information pertaining to encounters as well as answering questions
  • Logs schedule data and ensures it is entered accurately
  • Updates various teams with revisions
  • Acts as liaison to with internal departments and external resources and agencies
  • May set priorities and organize work within general guidelines
  • Seeks assistance when confronted with difficult and/or unpredictable situations


You are a good fit if you have:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 3-5 years related work experience required
  • Experience with computer systems required, including web based applications and some Microsoft Office or Google applications which may include Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Decision Making: Ability to make decisions that are guided by general instructions and practices requiring some interpretation
  • Problem Solving: Ability to address problems that are varied, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation using direct observation, knowledge and skills based on general precedents
  • Independence of Action: Ability to follow precedents and procedures
  • Knowledge: Ability to demonstrate full working knowledge of standard concepts, practices, procedures and policies with the ability to use them in varied situations
  • Team Work: Ability to work collaboratively in small teams to improve the operations of immediate work group by offering ideas, identifying issues, and respecting team members
  • Customer Service: Ability to provide a high level of customer service to patients, visitors, staff and external customers in a professional, service-oriented, respectful manner using skills in active listening and problem solving
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations


This position is remote (work from home) with expectation of attending team meetings quarterly. Candidates must reside in one of the following states: Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, or Connecticut

Work from home requirements:

  • Must have internet service with minimum upload/download ability.
  • Company will provide equipment (laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse and headset) plus a remote work stipend.
  • Must have a quiet space to speak to members with minimal background noise.
  • Must understand the importance of protected health information and ensure any data/information is not visible to others.


This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position. The starting range for this position is $20.22 - $25.16 per hour + equity + benefits. The final compensation package is influenced by various factors such as experience, education, degrees earned, market data, and business requirements.
