Overview

As a key member of the US Business Development Organization, this position is responsible for driving sustainable profitable sales growth in all LIXIL product categories through the effective management of specifications, driving brand standards and sales activities in the assigned US vertical channels with focus on assigned business category. Incumbent will self-generate, manage, and close new sales opportunities, support and delegate opportunities to local field teams and work closely with all key stakeholders within the US Project and Field Sales Teams. This position will require a proactive sales approach to help drive new business and increase the overall share of wallet across all LIXIL brands. Highly prefer candidates in The West (Los Angeles)

Responsibilities

  • Work with key stakeholders to help develop and implement LIXIL's residential multi-family/developer growth strategy to drive profitable sales and pipeline opportunities that are aligned with mission and national sales strategy by market segment, customer group and product category
  • Collaborate with all related field sales and business support resources in all project business activities from demand creation to demand conversion
  • Help co-lead, facilitate, and participate in all key account planning activities by the team and ensure that key account plans are in place for key vertical influencers, top stakeholders and decision-makers: Engineers, Designers, Developers, Mechanical Contractors, and Architects
  • Co-lead a strategic sales planning process with current key customer accounts that develops mutual performance objectives while connecting and providing the best value proposition with the before mentioned project influencers.
  • Daily utilization of KPI Tracking platforms and CRM (Salesforce.com) platforms and processes to manage and track activities, sales opportunities, project and customer progress, and to measure all aspects of the project business including but not limited to sales, margin, pipeline and conversion rate
  • Proactively seek out direct specification opportunities; Create specifications and project proposals, assist with key customer pipeline information and lead distribution to the field for non-targeted key accounts and collaborate to increase the LIXIL win ratio.
  • Collaborate with Trade and Key Accounts Sales Leaders and teams, including 3rd party reps, to share business plans and ensure market demands are identified and met.
  • Develop key relationships with the targeted firms focused within the assigned vertical while supporting their hired staff in the specification process.
  • Identify and participate in the key industry events to maximize exposure and new business opportunities and drive pipeline and endorser network growth.
  • Responsible for assigned vertical results, take ownership and responsibility: Brand specifications, pipeline, conversion, sales, margins, profit and expenses.
  • Liaise with marketing and product development teams to identify trends, marketing intelligence and new product opportunities.
  • Lead, share and influence multi-family success though collaboration with field leadership and field sales

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Communication or Business preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Required 5 years sales experience years in dealing directly with top US residential and/or commercial construction firms in driving related industry and or plumbing fixture specifications.
  • Leadership and Management mindset with strong leadership, strategic, analytical, business, planning, problem-solving and technical ability
  • Demonstrated competence in account development, consultative selling, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to grow business organically
  • Highly developed relationship building skills, ability to build credibility and influence within and outside the projects team
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally or in written form with internal and external customers.
  • Basic plumbing knowledge an asset
  • Aptitude for utilizing emerging technologies and working knowledge of Google Suite and SAP / CRM systems.
  • Around 40% travel is involved.

Hiring Range

The Hiring Salary Range for this position is $79,000-$113,000.00

annually. With a 24% SIP.

(Salary offer to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
