Sr CAD Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with organization’s policies and applicable standards regarding Engineering Documentation Control.
• Provide documentation requirements to clients, including receiving, copying, distributing, and tracking project documentation.
• Review ECRs, work orders, approve/reject tasks, notify initiator/author upon completion.
• Review and process documents, ensuring compliance with document control practices and retention requirements.
• Maintain SharePoint sites and project files, coordinate review, approval, and process turn-over packages to electronic file repository at project completion.
• Screen transmittals, project documentation, and turnover packages for compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain/coordinate electronic document database, provide new user training as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues related to document management systems (Veeva/COMOS) and project-related issues.
• Serve as a general resource for inquiries related to activities, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare detailed drawings of building alterations and additions, including plans, sections, and elevations.
• Gather supporting data and prepare detailed maps of institutional property, showing dimensions and specifications.
• Monitor and ensure compliance in clients’ training system.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of CAD experience, particularly with AutoCAD.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience in Engineering Technology, supplemented by advanced coursework in engineering drafting, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in engineering documentation within Veeva is a plus.
• Car for consistent transportation.
