Position Overview:
The Director of Demand Generation is a high-impact role in which you'll build our demand generation framework, create a playbook that can be implemented across a dozen brands of varying size and scope, manage our Paid Media, SEO, Content, Social Media and E-mail Operations Team. You will also identify innovative ways to grow our business, build our funnels, identify programs to generate interest, grow brand preference, boost engagement, nurture leads, and drive significant pipeline contributions. With a hands-on approach, you’ll systemize demand generation, drive a test & and learn culture to improve performance, identify new ways to reach prospects, as well as collaborate with marketing managers to customize plans  and ensure delivery of impactful campaigns. In this role, you will provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture to achieve strategic objectives and project goals.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and execute demand generation initiatives to drive traffic to our websites, engage prospects, and nurture leads to increase overall pipeline value across 12 brands.
  • Responsible for developing a demand generation framework and strategies as well as collaborating with marketing managers to customize the framework for their brands and geographies.
  • Responsible for leading, motivating, and mentoring members of the Paid Media, SEO, Content Marketing, and Social Media Teams. 
  • Segment and mine opportunities within our existing marketing database and identify new audiences as well as ways to reach those audiences.  
  • Responsible for analyzing campaign outcomes in detail, drawing insights and presenting results clearly to facilitate sound decision-making and the next steps. Must maintain a data-first approach through continual tracking, KPI reporting, optimization, and experimentation (A/B testing protocols) to meet or exceed goals within budget.
  • Partner with our Marketing Operations Team to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our marketing automation system (HubSpot) to better nurture prospects and customers, drive engagement, and increase conversion rates to marketing qualified leads while improving the integrity of the overall database.
  • Forecast impact of demand generation programs, paid media and build a data-driven culture by measuring effectiveness, performance, and continually strive to improve the ROI of marketing spend as well as manage a complex budget and complex ecosystem of brands.
  • Complete other duties and special projects as assigned. 

  • What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum eight (8) years of experience in demand generation and experience building a demand generation function from scratch. 
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience managing and developing teams.
  • Deep expertise in demand generation and the strategies, tactics and tools that drive business growth.
  • Experience developing, executing, and measuring innovative and results-focused demand programs and campaigns.
  • Have knowledge and hands-on experience with popular marketing automation systems, particularly HubSpot.
  • Expert understanding of the enterprise demand generation playbook and must have experience in building programs that support every aspect of the funnel.
