Position Overview:

Reporting to our Director of Marketing, the Senior Amazon PPC Specialist is a senior client-facing role overseeing campaigns on behalf of our clients with a high degree of autonomy. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strategies and managing media across a range of Amazon digital marketing channels, tracking responses, and reporting success to clients. You must be a professional marketer who is smart, organized, creative, dynamic, and bursting with ideas to test out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Campaign Management: Create and manage Amazon campaigns across various Amazon-owned channels (including all sponsored ad types, display ads, OTT, Amazon Affiliates, etc.) to drive overall growth for our partners.
  • Strategy Development: Generate and present Amazon marketing strategies that leverage the full suite of Amazon marketing channels. These strategies should be based on customer and market data, define goals and KPIs, and include implementation plans and budgets.
  • Budget Management: Manage media spend across accounts to ensure spending is within approved budgets and ROI parameters. Main KPIs include ACoS and TACoS.
  • Brand Growth: Drive overall brand growth relative to ad sales while maintaining monthly budget allocations.
  • Troubleshooting: Address and resolve marketing-related Amazon issues as they arise.
  • Analysis and Reporting: Provide in-depth ad hoc analysis and end-of-month reporting.
  • Research and Recommendations: Conduct competitive landscape and keyword research, and provide actionable strategic recommendations for client marketing plans.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the content team for campaigns requiring designs and copywriting, and work closely with the Account Manager to ensure work is delivered on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Language Skills: Fluent in English.
  • Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in all Amazon ad types and bid models.
  • Certification: Certified in Amazon Ads.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with bid management tools such as Carbon6, Helium10, Scale Insights, Skai, etc.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate trends from advertising data to non-advertising teams.
  • Project Management: Experience using project management and time tracking tools such as Asana, Teamwork, Wrike, Trello, Basecamp, Workfront, etc.
  • Agency Experience: Experience working in a fast-paced agency environment with multiple client accounts.
  • Personal Attributes: Ability to remain energetic, responsive, and enthusiastic in a remote work environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with experience collaborating with remote team members.
  • Additional Skills: Google Ads experience/e-commerce experience for Google Ads media buyers is highly desirable.
