Description

Under the supervision of the Medical Director, the Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse will provide patient care and perform psychiatric evaluations and assessments, conduct medication management/follow up psychiatric care, order and interpret diagnostic tests, establish and manage treatments plans.


This position is a Full-TIme salaried position with the starting annual rate of $120,000.00 with credit given for relative experience above what is required for the position up to $136,800.00 annually.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities - Clinical Duties

  • Review Eforcse/PDMP and document in intake and follow up note
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies
  • Formulate, document and manage treatment plans to include diagnosis, medications and recommendations for additional services and interventions as indicated.
  • Participation in weekly MD supervision meetings
  • Consult with other treatment professionals, as needed to ensure comprehensive care is provided for each patient.
  • Engage patients as a partner in their psychiatric care: including discussion of physical, mental and medical issues, treatment plan formulation, medication usage and side effects, and follow-up care plan.
  • Document referrals to additional services, interventions and levels of care as indicated
  • Adherence to ethical and professional guidelines and standards of practice.
  • Bring cases with liability issues or significant clinical concerns or conflict to the attention of your MD supervisor

Essential Duties/Responsibilities - Operational


  • Adhere to credentialing requirements as outlined by IMPOWER, funder requirements and the Council on Accreditation. This includes submitting documentation and completing applications for all IMPOWER funders, without exception, with 30 days of date of hire and ongoing during employment.
  • Provide telehealth services and adhere to IMPOWER’s Telehealth procedures regarding the delivery and reporting of clinical and psychiatric services to IMPOWER clients
  • Provide patient care in-office and via tele health that is professional and patient focused.
  • Respond to all emails twice a day, morning and afternoon
  • Submit intake and follow up notes within 24 hours of appointment.
  • Performance of psychiatric services that are timely by connecting to patient via telehealth platform at the start time of the appointment
  • Submit time off requests and approve work hours by Friday of each week
  • Complete paperwork necessary for patient care and treatment by close of business. (i.e. 5339, informed consents, school notes, diagnosis letter).
  • Enter prescriptions into electronic prescribing system by no later than close of business
  • Participate in IMPOWER's Peer Review process Performance and Quality Improvement process which includes regular quality focused case reviews and reporting, attendance at meetings and assistance in developing and implementing system wide quality improvement systems.
  • Notify supervisor of incident and submit incident report within prescribed timeframes
  • Abide by IMPOWER' policies, procedures and professional standards
  • Complete annual Relias trainings as assigned by due dates
  • Work within productivity guidelines established by IMPOWER
Requirements

Qualifications, Education, Experience:

  • Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) license required.
  • Experience working with psychiatric patients, including clinical treatment and medication management.
  • Successful background screenings through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, State and County.
  • Valid drivers license and auto insurance, and successful motor vehicle driving record background check.
  • Negative result from a multi panel drug screen.


Salary Description
$120,000.00 - 136,800.00
