Supervising Senior, Audit

SF Bay Area Salary Range: $105,000 - $114,000 DOE; Offered compensation will be adjusted for remote employees, based on the cost of living and market rate in their area of residence.

Supervising Seniors at our firm . . .
• prepare financial statements with disclosures, applying basic areas of GAAP as needed and documenting;
validating, testing and assessing various control systems;
• utilize their knowledge of GAAS principles and apply them to engagements;
• develop and apply their knowledge of auditing theory to various client situations;
• complete all appropriate documentation of work papers; and
• research accounting topics and form initial opinions.

To make it as part of our team, Supervising Senior candidates should have . . .
• a minimum of four (4) years of audit experience with a public accounting firm or closely related industry;
•    A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; 
•    Strong knowledge of accounting controls and professional standards and regulations (GAAP, GAAS etc); 
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and provide recommendations for improvement;
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service and support;
•    Ability to communicate effectively in English – both verbally and in writing; and 
•    Be willing and able to travel within the greater San Francisco Bay Area for client fieldwork or other business-related needs, as necessary.
