Oracle Financials Cloud Conversion Lead

Job Location:  Available to work Remote, Santa Barbara, CA.

Note: Remote Role but need to go travel once in 2 months for couple of days, 10+ candidates, locals to CA required.

Job Description:

Project Scope:

• The University of California at Santa Barbara needs an experienced functional/technical conversion lead for our Oracle Financials Cloud (OFC) implementation (in partnership with an implementer).
  
• This role requires outstanding communication skills to lead functional and technical stakeholders and facilitate rapid development team meetings to execute conversion deliverables.
  
• The desired candidate must possess extensive functional knowledge as well as technical knowledge/skills to effectively craft user solutions and foster collaboration with stakeholder groups at different levels of the organization.
  

1. Lead and collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to define campus conversion strategy
   
2. Lead and facilitate the work of existing cross-functional teams to execute key conversion deliverables of
   
1. defining data requirements
   
2. performing data cleansing
   
3. executing data validation
   
4. completing data reconciliation
   
5. facilitating sign-off
   
3. Leverage experience to understanding/troubleshooting conversion challenges and generating practical options/solutions to help functional teams complete deliverables
   
4. Work with campus project management to develop and update plan conversion tasks, and report to senior project stakeholders as needed.
   
5. Serve as UCSB primary point of contact for functional, technical and implementation partner team resources
   
6. Closely work with Implementation partners for cutover planning, conversion cycle execution as per planned schedule and tracking issues to closure
