Job Description:

Densify is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Solutions Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our technical sales efforts, specializing in our Kubernetes container resource management and optimization offerings. You will play a pivotal role in understanding our customers' detailed needs and leveraging your deep knowledge of Kubernetes to map these needs to our existing product capabilities, and upcoming, or potential, product enhancements.

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Product and Operations, you will also collaborate closely with our Product Management and Development teams to build out new capabilities that meet emerging customer requirements. This is a unique opportunity to drive technical sales while contributing to the product development process, ensuring that Densify remains at the cutting edge of container resource management and optimization technology.

 Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a technical expert in sales engagements, providing detailed technical presentations and product demonstrations tailored to customer needs, focusing on our Kubernetes optimization solutions.
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer environments, challenges, and objectives, translating these into compelling solutions using Densify's offerings.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Development teams to communicate customer feedback and influence the roadmap for new features and capabilities based on market needs.
  • Help conduct competitive research and prepare responses to RFI/RFP inquiries, demonstrating Densify's value proposition in comparison to competitors.
  • Help manage and execute Proof of Concept (POC) projects, ensuring successful demonstration of Densify's capabilities in addressing customer requirements.

 Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical sales or pre-sales role within an enterprise software company or a technical consulting role within a management consulting firm, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in Kubernetes container management solutions.
  • Exceptional understanding of Kubernetes, working knowledge of cloud computing (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) technologies.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, CloudFormation, Helm) for orchestration and automation.
  • Some knowledge of scripting/coding & database knowledge would be an asset
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and technical details.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, capable of effectively engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

 Location:

This is a remote position, with occasional travel required for team meetings and customer engagements. Preference will be given to candidates located in Canada.
