Job Overview:

As an Accountant for our client, you will be essential in maintaining the financial integrity and efficiency of the company. You will handle a broad range of accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, payroll management, and financial reporting, all while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your role will be crucial in supporting the company's operations and contributing to its continued success.

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping:

  • Manage sales tax filings and coordinate with external providers for income tax filings.
  • Maintain accurate financial records.
  • Complete monthly reporting packages as defined by management.

Payroll:

  • Prepare comprehensive payroll reports.
  • Assist in managing key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Ensure strict compliance with payroll regulations and procedures.

Accounts Payable:

  • Process payments for rent and facilities.
  • Calculate and maintain monthly supplier statements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.

Employee Management:

  • Conduct thorough background checks for new hires.
  • Assist in preparing and managing employment contracts.
  • Oversee payroll onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Support payroll accounting functions.

Other:

  • Manage inventory processes and maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Handle accounts receivable and ensure timely collections.

Job Qualifications & Skill Sets:

Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word/Excel.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Ownership of KPIs with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with QuickBooks.
  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite.
  • CPA certification.
  • Proficiency in Power BI.
  • Experience in data analytics.
  • Experience in external reporting, FP&A, and KPI management.
