We are looking for a Data Governance Manager! You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris.

Pernod Ricard has the ambition to conquer new frontiers and be the most innovative Wine & Spirits company in the world in terms of AI and digital. The ambition is to leverage the uniqueness of the depth of our brand portfolio to address the right product & service at the right time, at the right price to the right person (at a time when market fragmentation is increasing in the Wine and Spirits sector). This is done by deploying key digital transformation programs (KDPs) across our affiliates:

  • Reinventing the way sales forces operate, equipped them with data-driven tools supporting the prioritization of their efforts.

  • Optimizing the pricing of products in real time.

  • Optimizing marketing spend allocation across channels.

To support this global transformation, Data Office aims at unleashing the power of our data assets by facilitating data management across the group. You will accelerate an ambitious program aiming at supporting our Affiliates (eg. Pernod Ricard USA, Pernod Ricard France..) through tailor made services including internal consulting support, upskilling program and community animation.

Your key missions

As the Data Governance Manager within Global Data Governance Office Team, you will be at the forefront of driving our global Data Governance Program, aimed at empowering our affiliates to establish and execute effective data governance initiatives. Your strategic thinking, exceptional leadership skills, and deep understanding of data governance principles will be instrumental in fostering a culture of data excellence within our organization.

1/ Program Management

  • You will drive the program vision, identify risks/challenges, and oversee future improvements.

  • You will regularly report on program performance to senior leadership and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.

  • You will define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of data governance efforts.

2/ Data Governance Advisory

  • You will collaborate with affiliates to align their data governance roadmaps and objectives with the overarching program goals.

  • You will track and manage core priorities and milestones across all affiliates, ensuring consistent progress and adherence to established timelines.

  • You will provide guidance and support to affiliates in developing and executing their data governance strategies.

3**/ Community Animation**

  • You will foster a vibrant and engaged community of Data Governance Leaders and Data Ambassadors across affiliates.

  • You will organize and facilitate regular meetings, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to encourage collaboration and best practice sharing.

  • You will provide a platform for open communication, enabling affiliates to learn from each other's experiences and successes.

4**/ People Management**

  • You will lead the recruitment and onboarding of VIE (Volontariat International en Entreprise) positions dedicated to data within affiliates.

  • You will develop comprehensive training programs and mentorship initiatives for VIE to ensure their continuous growth and effectiveness.

  • You will provide ongoing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to VIE, enabling them to excel in their roles.

  • You have 8-10 years of experience in data governance, program management, or related roles within the consumer industry.

  • You have in-depth knowledge of data governance principles, practices, and industry trends.

  • You have proven ability to manage complex programs and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

  • You have strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and communicate program performance effectively.

  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and engagement among diverse stakeholders.

  • You have prior experience in people management, recruitment, and training.

  • Proficiency in data-related tools, software, and technologies.

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is desirable.

  • You speak English and French fluently
